Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is practically urging government intervention in the private sector. He’s not attempting to save some banks, or home owners, or some other company. He’s not attempting to save any faltering operation. So what does he want the government to get involved in? Pro Football

The Minnesota Vikings to be exact. If governor Pawlenty has his way, he will likely give hundreds of millions in subsidies to a sports team to build a new stadium in an attempt to keep them from leaving. Hard earned money confiscated from tax payers will go towards entertainers and their handlers that make millions each year. While people struggle financially, the various governments around the country seem to have no problem shelling out money for frivolous interests that don’t serve their citizens at all.

Governor Pawlenty has no concept of capitalism, and would happily help government stick its nose into private business affairs in which it has no business in. This is what is wrong with our country, economy, and government. Entirely too much meddling in private business, promoting corporatism instead of capitalism, all the while trampling the common citizen.
