Officer Uses Taser On 10-Year-Old Girl
Author: StephenPolice were called to an Ozark, Arizona home where a woman asked them to help her with her 10 year old daughter that was kicking, screaming, and throwing a fit. She told the officer to use his taser on her if he needed to, so when the girl kicked him in the groin, he used the taser on her back.
The police chief stated that the officer did nothing wrong and could have potentially severely harmed the girl had he tried to restrain her. Ozark police said it is their policy to use a taser on someone who is a threat to others, no matter their age.
The girl’s father was outraged about the incident, and is now seeking custody of the girl, stating that she has some emotional issues but that there was absolutely no need to use a taser on the child, who was taken into juvenile custody. The father said that this wasn’t the first time the mother had called the police to take the child into juvenile custody. The girl’s case will be brought in front of a judge in the juvenile court system.
Talk about bad parenting and a lack of judgement on the officer’s part…
