This is not your average blog, but then everyone thinks their blog isn’t the average blog. My name is Stephen Carter, I am the owner and operator of Beyond The Broken Spectrum.
I started this blog bring about awareness to many issues, as well as a place to talk about the various topics that spark my interest. I consider this to be a service to the public and I enjoy getting information out to people. When people have information, they become ever more educated, which helps to improve our society. There are no gimmicks or lies here “at least not intentionally”, and I do not seek to profit from this venture, except in the form of being satisfied in knowing that I helped to make the world a better place by enabling others to open-minded independent thinkers.
I’m a guy from a small town in Texas that enjoys politics, history, economics, a slew of other small hobbies, and a good laugh. It is my belief that the government should be small and non-intrusive in people’s lives. I believe in freedom for everyone, freedom to choose how you live your own life, so long as you do not infringe on the freedom of others. You’ll find that this is a general theme in many of my articles and opinions posted here.
Beyond The Broken Spectrum brings you the stories that don’t get the coverage they deserve, as well as opinion pieces and other information that mainstream media won’t show you. A wide range of topics are covered, and articles of all kinds are posted, whether I am in agreement with the article or not. While reading, look at the body of the article as independent pieces of one another, taking the good and leaving the bad. Its rare that a writer has hit something spot on, so there is no reason to dismiss entirely what they have to say should you not agree with them on every point. When reading this blog, challenge your mind, be open to different perspectives, and also the possibility that you could be wrong about something. It is the only way to expand your mind.
